Your protection strategy should always be to prevent fire. If a fire does occur,
early detection is essential. Your business and your ability to recover should
this happen, may one day depend upon your detection system. Various types of
detection would be specified throughout your premises to provide the highest
level of protection possible, allowing maximum time for your staff and visitors
to exit in a safe and controlled manner. Aegis design, supply, install and
commission fire detection systems, we also offer service and maintenance
agreements for any fire alarm system.
Conventional Manual Fire Alarms
Typically this level of fire alarm system will be designed to generate localised
alarm activations using call points only. Upon an alarm activation the system
will initiate sounders and beacons throughout the premises alerting staff and
visitors of the need to safely evacuate from the premises to a pre defined
position. This would apply for instance to a small commercial or large
residential premises.
Conventional Automatic Fire Alarms
This level of fire alarm system will be designed to generate localised alarm
activations using call points & automatic smoke/heat Detectors. Upon an alarm
activation the system will initiate sounders and beacons throughout the premises
alerting staff and visitors of the need to safely evacuate from the premises to
a pre defined position. This would apply for instance to small to medium
commercial and, medium sized retail premises.
Addressable
Automatic Fire Alarms
Typically this level of fire alarm system will be designed to generate localised
and site wide alarm activations using call points & automatic smoke/heat
Detectors, in addition this type of system facilitates interfacing with other
building management systems. Upon an alarm activation the system will initiate
sounders and beacons and, change the state of interfaces throughout the
premises, alerting staff and visitors of the need to safely evacuate from the
premises to a pre defined position. In addition this type of system would
typically have a connection to our monitoring centre for contacting keyholders
when activated, and if required alert the fire brigade automatically. This would
apply for instance to a Medium to Large commercial, industrial buildings or
large residential care home premises.
